Since we, Max (a church musician) and Jens (a physicist) bought Villa Hartmann in 2007, we have tirelessly invested time and energy — first in securing the building, and later in restoring it in its historic style.

In 2023, we decided to turn into reality an idea that had been maturing for some time: making the house’s unique ambience accessible to a broader public in the form of a B&B. The necessary renovations and conversions were completed by end of 2024, allowing us to welcome our first overnight guests here in early 2025.

That said, furnishing the house will probably never truly be finished. Being passionate about flea markets and antique fairs, we’re always finding new pieces, or drawing inspiration from design ideas in other houses.

But for now, we’re looking forward to your visit and would love to welcome you to Villa Hartmann!
